House File 2558 - Enrolled House File 2558 RELATING TO THE DEFINITION OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT FOR PURPOSES OF PUBLIC CONSTRUCTION BIDDING. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA: Section 1. Section 26.2, subsection 3, paragraph b, Code 2026, is amended by adding the following new subparagraphs: NEW SUBPARAGRAPH. (7) Equipment acquired by or for a city utility under chapter 388 when such equipment is related to an electric generating project. NEW SUBPARAGRAPH.
