A BILL FOR An Act relating to the conduct of calendar raffles by a licensed qualified organization. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA: TLSB 6563XS (2) ss/ns S.F. 2113 Section 1. Section 99B.1, subsection 11, Code 2026, is amended by striking the subsection. Sec. 2. Section 99B.24, subsection 1, paragraph d, Code 2026, is amended to read as follows: d. Calendar raffles and build-up Build-up or pyramid raffles are prohibited. EXPLANATION The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with the explanation's substance by the members of the general assembly. This bill strikes a prohibition on the conduct of calendar raffles by a licensed qualified organization pursuant to Code chapter 99B (social and charitable gambling). Under current law, a calendar raffle is a single-entry raffle with winners selected over multiple dates. LSB 6563XS (2) -1- ss/ns 1/1
