A BILL FOR An Act extending the deadline to enter into withholding agreements under the targeted jobs withholding credit pilot project. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA: TLSB 5866XS (1) jm/jh S.F. 2240 Section 1. Section 403.19A, subsection 3, paragraph c, subparagraph (2), Code 2026, is amended to read as follows: (2) The pilot project city and the economic development authority shall not enter into a withholding agreement after June 30, 2027 2030. EXPLANATION The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with the explanation's substance by the members of the general assembly. This bill extends, by three years, the deadline for entering into withholding agreements under the targeted jobs withholding credit pilot project from June 30, 2027, to June 30, 2030.
