House Resolution H-1011 Amend House Resolution 3 as follows: 1. Page 3, by striking lines 18 through 23 and inserting: <BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives supports the State of Israel's sovereignty and right to defend itself against terrorist organizations, including by taking necessary actions to eliminate such threats. However, this support is conditioned upon the State of Israel's adherence to international humanitarian law and protection of innocent civilian lives. The House of Representatives reaffirms its commitment to human rights and condemns acts by any party that constitute war crimes, crimes against humanity, or indiscriminate attacks against civilian populations.> ______________________________ SCHEETZ of Linn HR 3.265 (1) -1- sc/ns 1/1
