A Resolution recognizing and honoring Easterseals Iowa on its centennial anniversary. WHEREAS, Easterseals Iowa was founded in 1926 with the mission of fostering inclusion, independence, and community for all Iowans with disabilities; and WHEREAS, since its founding, Easterseals Iowa has worked tirelessly to remove barriers, expand access, and empower people of all abilities to live full and meaningful lives; and WHEREAS, the dedicated team members, volunteers, board members, donors, partners, and advocates of Easterseals Iowa have contributed immeasurably to its mission, offering compassion, expertise, and unwavering support to countless individuals and families across generations; and WHEREAS, Easterseals Iowa has grown from its early beginnings into a trusted statewide leader through providing innovative programs, person-centered care, education, advocacy, and resources that strengthen Iowa communities; and WHEREAS, the century-long legacy of Easterseals Iowa reflects not only remarkable service but a continued commitment to progress, innovation, and the ongoing advancement of Iowans of all abilities; and WHEREAS, the centennial anniversary of Easterseals Iowa marks an extraordinary milestone; honoring the past, celebrating the present, and inspiring a bold and inclusive vision for the next century; NOW THEREFORE, LSB 5902XS (2) -1- ak/jm 1/2 S.R.
