House File 2764 H-8385 Amend the amendment, H-8382, to House File 2764, as follows: 1. Page 1, after line 4 by inserting: <___. Page 2, after line 6 by inserting: <Sec. ___. Section 257.8, Code 2026, is amended by adding the following new subsection: NEW SUBSECTION. 2A. Failure to timely enact state percents of growth. If the state percent of growth and categorical state percent of growth for a budget year are not enacted by April 15 of the base year, the application process for education savings accounts under section 257.11B, subsection 3, paragraph "a", shall be suspended beginning on April 15 of the base year and shall remain suspended until the day following enactment of legislation establishing the state percent of growth and categorical state percent of growth for the applicable budget year.> ___.
