A Concurrent Resolution to approve and confirm the appointment of Bernardo Granwehr as Ombudsman. WHEREAS, chapter 2C provides for the appointment of the Ombudsman with the approval and confirmation of a constitutional majority of both the Senate and the House of Representatives; and WHEREAS, the Legislative Council appointed Mr. Bernardo Granwehr as Ombudsman for a four-year term commencing July 1, 2026, subject to approval and confirmation of the appointment by resolution of the Senate and House of Representatives; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CONCURRING, That Mr. Bernardo Granwehr is approved and confirmed as Ombudsman for a four-year term which commences July 1, 2026, as provided in sections 2C.3 and 2C.5.
