A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of James Allen Ewing. WHEREAS, James Allen Ewing was born on January 22, 1942, to John Henry and Vivian Muster Ewing in Green County, Kentucky; and WHEREAS, James Allen Ewing graduated from Greensburg High School where he excelled in many areas including basketball and track and went on to play varsity basketball at Kentucky Wesleyan College; and WHEREAS, James Allen Ewing entered the United States Navy after completing medical school at the University of Louisville and later returned to Kentucky to practice medicine in Campbellsville until his retirement in 2017; and WHEREAS, James Allen Ewing was deeply involved in several community and professional organizations and enjoyed photography, hunting, and spending time with family and friends; and WHEREAS, James Allen Ewing is survived by his brothers Jack (Connie) and Joe (Cecilia) Ewing; children Jimmy (Pam) Ewing, Jennifer (Chuck) Meyers, and Jill (Keith) Lee; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him dearly; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1. The Senate expresses its most profound sympathy upon the passing of James Allen Ewing and extends heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and community. Section 2.
