A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of Jeremiah Parsons. WHEREAS, Jeremiah Parsons, of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, was born on July 1, 1984, to Rudy Parsons, Jr., and Alice Jacobs Parsons; and WHEREAS, Jeremiah Parsons was the epitome of kindness; and WHEREAS, Jeremiah Parsons left behind a legacy in both tourism and the arts in his community; and WHEREAS, Jeremiah Parsons was the executive director of Paintsville Tourism, and his love for Paintsville and unwavering dedication to his community will never be forgotten; and WHEREAS, Jeremiah Parsons was the director of Main Street Players, where he was dedicated to nurturing young performers and building a theatre community rooted in creativity, confidence, and kindness; and WHEREAS, Jeremiah Parsons encouraged young performers to find their voices, and instill in them courage and love for the arts that will stay with them for a lifetime; and WHEREAS, Jeremiah Parsons poured his heart into serving Paintsville and uplifting the people and places he cared so deeply about; and WHEREAS, Jeremiah Parsons passed away on January 15, 2026, and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him; and WHEREAS, Jeremiah Parsons is survived by his brothers, Mickey Rudolph (Sarah) Parsons, Andrew Parsons, Matthew (Glenda) Parsons, Joshua (Jessica) Parsons, Thomas Parsons, Nathaniel Lee Dye, and Shane Combs; Papaw and Mamaw, Eugene …
