A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of Denise Lane "Deni" Hamilton. WHEREAS, Denise Lane "Deni" Hamilton was born on October 15, 1953, in Hamilton, Ohio, to the late Rudolph "Rudy" Lane and Thelma "TJ" Theiss Lane; and WHEREAS, Denise Lane "Deni" Hamilton was born into a military family and moved all over the country with her two sisters, eventually graduating from high school in Juneau, Alaska, after attending 14 different schools; and WHEREAS, Denise Lane "Deni" Hamilton earned degrees in Psychology and Art from Berry College in Georgia, and later followed her younger sister to Western Kentucky University, where she met the love of her life, William "Bill" Hamilton; and WHEREAS, what began as a beautiful friendship blossomed into 47 years of marriage, filled with shared adventures, travels around the world, four children, grandchildren, and now deep roots in Georgetown, Kentucky, where Bill Hamilton was born and raised; and WHEREAS, Denise Lane "Deni" Hamilton gave her heart and soul to her children, coaching various teams, running hospitality rooms, and never missing one of the kids' sporting events; and she cherished her grandchildren and made the holidays so special for everyone, with Thanksgiving, Christmas, July 4th, and Easter being her favorites; and WHEREAS, Denise Lane "Deni" Hamilton extended her love beyond her family to her community as …
