A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Jai Y. Bokey to the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education. WHEREAS, on October 9, 2025, in accordance with KRS 164.011 and by virtue of Executive Order 2025-629, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Jai Y. Bokey to the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education for a term expiring December 31, 2030; and WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and WHEREAS, Jai Y. Bokey has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 164.011; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Jai Y. Bokey to the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education. Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and notification of its adoption to Jai Y. Bokey of Prospect, Jefferson County, Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, 703 Capital Avenue, Room 133, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. XXXX 2/9/2026 3:06 PM Jacketed
