A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Nicholas Pace to the Education Professional Standards Board. WHEREAS, on September 11, 2025, in accordance with KRS 161.028 and by virtue of Executive Order 2025-574, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Nicholas Pace to the Education Professional Standards Board to replace Amy Lingo for a term expiring June 30, 2026; and WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and WHEREAS, Nicholas Pace has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 161.028, representing postsecondary institutions; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Nicholas Pace to the Education Professional Standards Board. Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and notification of its adoption to Nicholas Pace of Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, 703 Capital Avenue, Room 133, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.
