A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Steve Zahn to the Kentucky Film Leadership Council. WHEREAS, on July 1, 2025, in accordance with KRS 154.12-282 and by virtue of Executive Order 2025-386, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Steve Zahn to the Kentucky Film Leadership Council for a term expiring June 30, 2028; and WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and WHEREAS, Steve Zahn has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 154.12-282, representing a film profession; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Steve Zahn as a member of the Kentucky Film Leadership Council. Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and notification of its adoption to Steve Zahn of Georgetown, Scott County, Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, 703 Capital Avenue, Room 133, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.
