A RESOLUTION confirming the reappointment of Elijah Edwards to the Education Professional Standards Board. WHEREAS, on July 24, 2025, in accordance with KRS 161.028 and by virtue of Executive Order 2025-441, Governor Andy Beshear reappointed Elijah Edwards to the Education Professional Standards Board for a term expiring June 30, 2028; and WHEREAS, the reappointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and WHEREAS, Elijah Edwards has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 161.028, representing high school teachers; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the reappointment of Elijah Edwards to the Education Professional Standards Board. Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and notification of its adoption to Elijah Edwards of Danville, Boyle County, Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, 703 Capital Avenue, Room 133, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.
