A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of James P. Gray II to the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees. WHEREAS, on July 24, 2025, in accordance with KRS 164.131 and by virtue of Executive Order 2025-457, Governor Andy Beshear appointed James P. Gray II to the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees for a term expiring June 30, 2031; and WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and WHEREAS, James P. Gray II has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 164.131; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of James P. Gray II to the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees. Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and notification of its adoption to James P. Gray II of Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, 703 Capital Avenue, Room 133, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. XXXX 3/2/2026 5:00 PM Jacketed
