A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Victoria Grooms to the Northern Kentucky University Board of Regents. WHEREAS, on September 11, 2025, in accordance with KRS 164.321 and by virtue of Executive Order 2025-581, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Victoria Grooms to the Northern Kentucky University Board of Regents for a term expiring June 30, 2026; and WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and WHEREAS, Victoria Grooms has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 164.321; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Victoria Grooms to the Northern Kentucky University Board of Regents. Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and notification of its adoption to Victoria Grooms of Newport, Campbell County, Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, 703 Capital Avenue, Room 133, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.
