A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Fritz Giesecke to the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board. WHEREAS, on July 6, 2025, in accordance with KRS 248.707 and by virtue of Executive Order 2025-008, Commissioner Jonathan Shell appointed Fritz Giesecke to the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board for a term expiring July 6, 2029; and WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and WHEREAS, Fritz Giesecke has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 248.707, representing Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Fritz Giesecke to the Kentucky Agricultural Development Board. Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and notification of its adoption to Fritz Giesecke of Hart County, Kentucky, and to Commissioner Jonathan Shell, Corporate Drive Complex, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.
