A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Dr. Kenny Burdine to the Kentucky Agricultural Finance Corporation. WHEREAS, on June 26, 2025, in accordance with KRS 247.944 and by virtue of Executive Order 2025-007, Commissioner Jonathan Shell appointed Dr. Kenny Burdine to the Kentucky Agricultural Finance Corporation for a term expiring June 26, 2029; and WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and WHEREAS, Dr. Kenny Burdine has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 247.944, representing agricultural economists; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Dr. Kenny Burdine to the Kentucky Agricultural Finance Corporation. Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and notification of its adoption to Dr. Kenny Burdine of Jessamine County, Kentucky, and to Commissioner Jonathan Shell, Corporate Drive Complex, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.
