A RESOLUTION confirming the hiring of Eric King as executive director of the Energy Planning and Inventory Commission. WHEREAS, on September 19, 2025, in accordance with KRS 164.2807, the executive committee of the Energy Planning and Inventory Commission offered Eric King the position of executive director of the Energy Planning and Inventory Commission; and WHEREAS, the hiring is subject to Senate confirmation; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the hiring of Eric King as executive director of the Energy Planning and Inventory Commission. Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and notification of its adoption to Eric King and to Ashli Watts, chair, Energy Planning and Inventory Commission, 2540 Research Park Drive, Lexington, Kentucky 40511.
