A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Jonathan Rabinowitz to the Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation. WHEREAS, on March 24, 2026, in accordance with KRS 230.227 and by virtue of Executive Order 2026-132, Governor Andy Beshear appointed Jonathan Rabinowitz to the Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation and as chair of the corporation for a term expiring on July 1, 2029; and WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and WHEREAS, Jonathan Rabinowitz has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 230.227, representing the Thoroughbred industry; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of Jonathan Rabinowitz to the Kentucky Horse Racing and Gaming Corporation. Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and notification of its adoption to Jonathan Rabinowitz of Versailles, Woodford County, Kentucky, and to Governor Andy Beshear, 703 Capitol Avenue, Room 133, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.
