A RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of David Wallace to the Kentucky State Fair Board. WHEREAS, on March 31, 2026, in accordance with KRS 247.090 and by virtue of Executive Order 2026-001, Commissioner Jonathan Shell appointed David Wallace to the Kentucky State Fair Board for a term expiring March 31, 2030; and WHEREAS, the appointment is subject to Senate confirmation; and WHEREAS, David Wallace has been determined to meet the requirements of KRS 247.090, representing agriculture and agriculture-related business; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1. The Senate hereby confirms the appointment of David Wallace to the Kentucky State Fair Board. Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall forward a copy of this Resolution and notification of its adoption to David Wallace of Boone County, Kentucky, and to Commissioner Jonathan Shell, Corporate Drive Complex, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.
