A RESOLUTION honoring the contributions of Christian women leaders in the Commonwealth of Kentucky through She Leads Kentucky. WHEREAS, the Commonwealth of Kentucky is blessed with a rich heritage of faith, resilience, and leadership, exemplified by women who, guided by their Christian values, lead businesses, ministries, and organizations, and excel in their fields with distinction and purpose; and WHEREAS, She Leads Kentucky, an organization dedicated to validating, encouraging, and empowering Christian women, gives "honor where honor is due," recognizing those who operate at high levels of Christian excellence or whose names are whispered by the Holy Spirit to its chairs and executive leadership team; and WHEREAS, She Leads Kentucky is a ministry initiative of Divine Justice, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and is affiliated with She Leads America. The founder and president of She Leads America is the Honorable Rev. Elizabeth Doyle. The founder and executive director of She Leads Kentucky is Marti Ellen Thurman, JD, CCRP, and the assistant director is Barbara Ann Jeter. The current executive leadership team of She Leads Kentucky includes Emily Thurman, Rebecca Bowen, Cheryl Wise, and Carolyn Corum; and WHEREAS, the members of She Leads Kentucky, through their unwavering commitment to their faith and their communities, inspire others by exemplifying the values of integrity, servant leadership, and service; and WHEREAS, their leadership, through She …
