A RESOLUTION honoring the service of Thomas Kurtz during the 2026 Regular Session of the General Assembly. WHEREAS, Thomas Kurtz is a gifted scholar at the University of Louisville, where he is a member of the McConnell Scholars Program and Beta Theta Pi; and WHEREAS, Thomas Kurtz has served as a legislative intern to Kentucky State Senator Max Wise during the 2026 Regular Session of the Kentucky General Assembly; and WHEREAS, Thomas Kurtz has used his substantial intellect and curiosity to provide valuable contributions to the complex yet worthwhile legislative process; and WHEREAS, Thomas Kurtz has demonstrated remarkable skill, knowledge, and dedication to strengthening Kentucky's legislature; and WHEREAS, the service and contributions of Thomas Kurtz are indeed worthy of public recognition; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1. The members of the Senate join Senator Max Wise in recognizing and honoring Thomas Kurtz for his impressive contributions and exemplary performance while serving as a legislative intern during the 2026 Regular Session of the General Assembly, and wishing him good fortune in all future endeavors. Section 2.
