A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in honor and loving memory of Jack Melvin Miller. WHEREAS, Jack Melvin Miller was born on July 30, 1941, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Milford and Mary Miller; and WHEREAS, Jack Melvin Miller was known for his integrity and work ethic, which were qualities that shaped his legacy; and WHEREAS, Jack Melvin Miller enjoyed a successful career in the building industry, including retiring as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Drees Homes, serving as the former President of the Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky and the Home Builders Association of Kentucky, and as the former Chair of the National Sales and Marketing Council of the National Association of Home Builders; and WHEREAS, Jack Melvin Miller received numerous honors, such as Builder of the Year and also a Community Service Award from the Northern Kentucky Home Builders Association, and the Donald M. Wiedeman Lifetime Achievement Award, a recognition of a career marked by excellence, service, and leadership; and WHEREAS, Jack Melvin Miller was widely known to love his family farm in Owen County, Kentucky; and WHEREAS, Jack Melvin Miller is remembered for his service to the Nation as a United States Marine, and his patriotism that followed beyond his service; and WHEREAS, Jack Melvin Miller, is survived by his loving wife, Jean Miller; his …
