AN ACT To amend and reenact R.S. 36:502(A) and (B), 503, 505(A) and (B), 506(A) through (C), 508(A) through (C), and (F), 508.2(A) through (C), (E), and (F), and 508.6(C) and (D) and to enact R.S. 36:505.1, relative to operational reforms within the Department of Transportation and Development; to provide for the creation of the position of chief operating officer within the department; to provide for the duties of the chief operating officer; to provide for the duties of the deputy secretary within the office of transformation; to extend the deadline for the department to implement certain changes and reforms; to extend the deadline for the department to remitting payment to vendors and contractors; to provide for an effective date; and to provide for related matters. Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: Section 1. R.S. 36:502(A) and (B), 503, 505(A) and (B), 506(A) through (C), 508(A) through (C), and (F), 508.2(A) through (C), (E), and (F), and 508.6(C) and (D) are hereby amended and reenacted and R.S. 36:505.1 is hereby enacted to read as follows: §502.
