AN ACT To amend and reenact the introductory paragraph of R.S. 33:2740.3(A) and 2740.3(A)(2), (C) and (F) and to enact R.S. 33:2740.3(G)(5), relative to the Downtown Development District of the city of New Orleans; to provide relative to the appointment of members of the board of commissioners of the Downtown Development District of the city of New Orleans; to provide for removal of the fiftyyear term of the special tax authorized to be levied by the city of New Orleans for the district; to provide for the disbursement of the proceeds of the special tax; to provide for the classification of the district as a political subdivision; to provide relative to the payment of bonds payable from the special tax; to provide for an effective date; and to provide for related matters. Notice of intention to introduce this Act has been published. Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: Section 1. The introductory paragraph of R.S. 33:2740.3(A) and 2740.3(A)(2), (C) and (F) are hereby amended and reenacted and R.S. 33:2740.3(G)(5) is hereby enacted to read as follows: §2740.3.
