AN ACT To provide relative to state highways; to designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 526 in Caddo Parish as "Lane Mangum Memorial Highway"; to provide for location and placement of signage; to provide for restrictions on costs of materials to the department; and to provide for related matters. Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana: Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, Louisiana Highway 526, also known as East Bert Kouns Industrial Drive, beginning at Wrenwood Boulevard and ending on the western side of the Interstate 49 Interchange at Premier Court, all of which is situated in Shreveport, Louisiana in Caddo Parish, is hereby designated as "Lane Mangum Memorial Highway". Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development is hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signs of this designation provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's actual costs for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of each sign, not to exceed the sum of seven hundred fifty dollars per sign.
