An Act to Make the Director of the Office of Cannabis Policy an Appointed Position Subject to Confirmation by the Legislature" Amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting the following: 'An Act to Make the Director of the Office of Cannabis Policy, the Director of the Bureau of Alcoholic Beverages and Lottery Operations and the Director of the Gambling Control Unit Appointed Positions Subject to Confirmation by the Legislature' Amend the bill by striking out everything after the enacting clause and inserting the following: 'Sec. 1. 5 MRSA §948, sub-§1, ¶L, as amended by PL 2011, c. 633, §1, is further amended to and Sec. 2. 5 MRSA §948, sub-§1, ¶M, as amended by PL 2011, c. 633, §2, is further amended to and Sec. 3. 5 MRSA §948, sub-§1, ¶O is enacted to read: O. Director, Gambling Control Unit. Sec. 4. 8 MRSA §1001, sub-§9, as enacted by PL 2003, c. 687, Pt. A, §5 and affected by Pt. B, §11, is amended to read: 9. Director.
