An Act to Allow a Municipality or Locally Recognized Lake Association to Post Certain Information on the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife's Information Kiosks Located at State Boat Launch Facilities" Amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting the following: 'An Act to Allow a Municipality or Local Lake Association to Post Certain Information on Informational Signs Located at State Boat Launch Facilities with Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Permission' Amend the bill by striking out everything after the enacting clause and inserting the following: 'Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §12708, as amended by PL 2021, c. 184, §§10 to 12, is further amended by amending the section headnote to boat launch informational signs Sec. 2. 12 MRSA §12708, sub-§3 is enacted to read: 3. Boat launch informational signs. Upon request to and with permission from the department, a municipality or local lake association or similar nonprofit organization may display at state boat launch facilities a single sign, not to exceed 24 inches by 36 inches, about promoting healthy lake water quality and reducing the risk of introduction of invasive aquatic species.' Amend the bill by relettering or renumbering any nonconsecutive Part letter or section number to read consecutively. SUMMARY 3322 This amendment replaces the bill and changes the title.
