An Act to Codify Minimum Instructional Hours in the State's Schools" Amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting the following: 'Resolve, Directing the Department of Education to Conduct a Statewide Survey Related to Instructional Time in Public Schools' Amend the bill by striking out everything after the title and inserting the instructional time. Resolved: That the Department of Education shall conduct a statewide survey of school administrative units to collect data on the number of hours a day used for instructional time in schools throughout the State. No later than December 1, 2025, the department shall submit a report with the results of the survey to the Joint Standing Committee on Education and Cultural Affairs. The committee may report out a bill to the Second Regular Session of the 132nd Legislature. Sec. 2. Appropriations and allocations. Resolved: That the following appropriations and allocations are made.
