AN ACT concerning Economic Development - Prince George's County Suitland Development Authority - Established FOR the purpose of establishing the Suitland Development Authority in Prince George's County; requiring the Authority to support and develop a certain neighborhood revitalization plan in coordination with certain residents; authorizing the Authority to modify certain boundaries, subject to a certain vote; requiring the Authority to take certain actions regarding the finances of the Authority; exempting the Authority from certain taxation or assessments under certain circumstances; and generally relating to the Suitland Development Authority. BY adding to Article - Economic Development Section 12-1201 through 12-1214 to be under the new subtitle "Subtitle 12. Prince George's County Suitland Development Authority" Annotated Code of Maryland (2024 Replacement Volume and 2025 Supplement) BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments, Article - State Finance and Procurement Section 6-226(a)(2)(i) and (ii) Annotated Code of Maryland (2021 Replacement Volume and 2025 Supplement) BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Article - State Finance and Procurement Section 6-226(a)(2)(iii)212. and 213.
