A bill for an act relating to transportation; regulating certain autonomous vehicles; amending Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 169.011, by adding subdivisions; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 169. Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 169.011, is amended by adding a subdivision to read: new text begin [ADDED: Subd. 3b.] new text end new text begin [ADDED: Automated driving system.] new text end new text begin [ADDED: "Automated driving system" means the hardware and software that are collectively capable of performing the entire dynamic driving task on a sustained basis, regardless of whether the dynamic driving task is limited to a specific operational design domain.] new text end Sec. 2.
