A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING THE SOUTH PIKE HIGH SCHOOL BOYS AND GIRLS POWERLIFTING TEAMS FOR WINNING THE MISSISSIPPI HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATION (MHSAA) CLASS 2A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. WHEREAS, the South Pike High School Boys and Girls Powerlifting Teams reigned supreme at the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) Class 2A State Championship, an incredible accomplishment reflecting years of dedication, discipline, teamwork and extraordinary coaching; and WHEREAS, fans crowded the Mississippi Coliseum to watch the South Pike High School Boys and Girls Powerlifting Teams showcase their exemplary skill at the state championship after their impressive South State victories, and the teams did not disappoint, as they captured their eleventh and twelfth championship titles with their exceptional performances; and WHEREAS, the South Pike teams have ascended to the pinnacle of powerlifting excellence this season thanks to the hard work and unmatched spirit of the dedicated student-athletes, whose hours of practice spent deadlifting, squatting and bench pressing paid off *HR43/R1630* H.
