A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING DANIEL WILE UPON BEING NAMED THE 2025 STATE GAMES OF MISSISSIPPI OVERALL MALE ATHLETE OF THE YEAR. WHEREAS, Daniel Wile of Meridian, Mississippi, has been named the 2025 State Games of Mississippi Overall Male Athlete of the Year, an honor recognizing exceptional athletic performance, endurance, and sustained excellence across multiple disciplines; and WHEREAS, Daniel has participated in endurance sports for more than a decade and has competed in the State Games of Mississippi on two occasions, earning one gold medal and one silver medal in cycling, as well as two gold medals and two silver medals in masters swimming; and WHEREAS, during the 2025 State Games cycling competition, Daniel recorded an outstanding time of 00:55:14.76, finishing only milliseconds behind the gold medalist, a performance that reflects elite conditioning, discipline and competitive resolve; and *HR43/R2386* H.
