A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING AUBREY LYNN ATCHISON UPON BEING NAMED THE 2025 STATE GAMES OF MISSISSIPPI OVERALL YOUTH ATHLETE OF THE YEAR. WHEREAS, Aubrey Lynn Atchison of Biloxi, Mississippi, has been named the 2025 State Games of Mississippi Overall Youth Athlete of the Year, an honor bestowed upon a young athlete whose performance, character and perseverance exemplify the highest ideals of athletic excellence and sportsmanship; and WHEREAS, Aubrey is a senior at Biloxi High School and has dedicated 13 years to the sport of softball, including three years competing in the State Games of Mississippi, reflecting sustained commitment, discipline and competitive excellence; and WHEREAS, during the 2025 State Games of Mississippi, Aubrey delivered an exceptional performance by posting a .636 batting average, scoring four runs and recording five runs batted in (RBIs), thereby distinguishing herself among the most accomplished youth athletes in the state; and *HR26/R2384* H.
