A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING THE PARKLANE ACADEMY PIONEERS FOOTBALL TEAM AND HEAD COACH RON RUSHING ON WINNING THEIR SECOND CONSECUTIVE MIDSOUTH ASSOCIATION OF INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS STATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP. WHEREAS, on November 22, 2025, in a landslide victory that will surely be remembered for years to come, the Parklane Academy Football Team reigned supreme yet again when the unstoppable Pioneers routed the Heritage Academy Patriots 42-0 to win the Midsouth Association of Independent Schools (MAIS) Class 4A, Division II, State Championship; and WHEREAS, having brought home the MAIS Class 5A state title just a year earlier, the 11-1 Pioneers solidified the team's high-performing reputation as a continuously successful program with their incredible back-to-back championship wins; and WHEREAS, at the 2025 title matchup, Parklane's early burst of explosive plays gave the Pioneers a comfortable 20-0 lead when the halftime buzzer sounded, yet the squad remained relentless, more than doubling the final score with 22 points added to the board in the second half while the overpowering Pioneers' defense remained *HR26/R1451* H.
