A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING STONE COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP AND ELECTED CITY AND COUNTY LEADERS AND BUSINESS LEADERS OF STONE COUNTY UPON THE COUNTY'S ECONOMIC SUCCESS. WHEREAS, the Stone County Economic Development Partnership (SCEDP) as well as the county's elected city and county leaders and business leaders are being honored upon the county becoming "a hidden gem that awaits all" as it is a beacon of innovation, opportunity and community pride that has catapulted the county into economic success; and WHEREAS, with the assistance of the Mississippi Development Authority and other state resources, Stone County has attracted a world-class innovator in the aerospace and defense section with rocket motors manufacturer, Anduril; and WHEREAS, notably, in the upcoming months, with the help of Gulf Coast Restoration Funds, Stone County is committed to developing an industrial site that will bring even more innovators to the area while supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs, who form the backbone of the county's local economy; and *HR26/R2425* H.
