A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND COMMENDING DAVID HOKE OF UNDERSTANDING THE WORD MINISTRIES FOR DELIVERING BIBLES TO THE MISSISSIPPI LEGISLATURE AND FOR HIS CONTINUED DEDICATION TO SPREADING THE WORD OF GOD. WHEREAS, born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, Mr. David Hoke, of Understanding the Word Ministries, in 2020, was led by the Holy Spirit to provide a Life Application Study Bible to all who seek knowledge from the Bible, or thought it was impossible to read and understand the Bible; and WHEREAS, Mr. Hoke has been led to customize each Bible to the individual, not only their name, but also things they are passionate about, and make them who they are, and what started as a small task quickly became a profound call from the Messiah to expand our reach and share our gift with many more people around the world; and WHEREAS, during a church service in March 2024, Mr. Hoke was giving a testimony about the calling, while presenting 2,000 Spanish Life Application Study Bibles for the Dominican Republic, it caught the attention of one of his State Representatives' *HR43/R2536* H. R. No. 54 ~ OFFICIAL ~ N1/2 26/HR43/R2536 PAGE 1 (MCL\KP) wives, who reached out and asked if he wanted to provide a Bible to every State Representative in Louisiana, and he was honored to deliver them, and …
