A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND COMMENDING MR. RICKY HOOD, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER FOR THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS OF EAST MISSISSIPPI, FOR HIS CONTINUOUS HARD WORK AND DEDICATED SERVICE. WHEREAS, for over 35 years, Mr. Ricky Hood has served his community by dedicating his time and hard work to the Boys and Girls Club; and WHEREAS, Mr. Hood is currently the Chief Executive Officer for the Boys and Girls Clubs of East Mississippi, which includes four sites in Lauderdale County, Neshoba County, and Attala County, and with the help of a dedicated staff of 52, many of whom are former club members, the organization served over 900 children daily at the six sites prior to the COVID-19 pandemic; and WHEREAS, throughout the pandemic, the Club provided over 2,500 meals daily, and it also provided virtual learning for several of the communities in East Mississippi, and currently, the Boys and Girls Clubs provide services for over 600 children daily; and *HR26/R2603* H.
