MISSISSIPPI LEGISLATURE REGULAR SESSION 2026 By: Representatives Carpenter, Carpenter To: Rules HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. A HOUSE RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING THE TISHOMINGO COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL "BRAVETTES" DANCE TEAM UPON WINNING THE 2025 MISSISSIPPI STATE CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE 1A-4A HIP-HOP DIVISION. WHEREAS, the Tishomingo County High School Bravettes Dance Team achieved a historic milestone on December 12, 2025, by winning the program's first-ever state championship in the 1A-4A Hip-Hop Division during competition held in Jackson, Mississippi; and WHEREAS, this remarkable victory marks a defining moment in the history of Tishomingo County High School athletics and performing arts, demonstrating the Bravettes' commitment to excellence, discipline and teamwork as they competed against talented dance teams from across the state; and WHEREAS, under the outstanding leadership of Head Coach Alexis Rogers, with the valuable guidance of Assistant Coach Abigail Williford, the Bravettes Dance Team devoted countless hours to rigorous practice, preparation and performance *HR43/R2667* H.
