A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND COMMENDING EVAN CARR, OF THE MADISON-RIDGELAND ACADEMY PATRIOTS BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM, FOR HIS OUTSTANDING EFFORTS DURING THE 2025-2026 BASKETBALL SEASON. WHEREAS, Evan Carr, of the Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots Boys Basketball Team, demonstrated exceptional skill, teamwork and determination on the court during the 2025-2026 basketball season; and WHEREAS, Madison-Ridgeland Academy completed the 2025-2026 season with a 37-2 record, the best record in the program's history, while riding a 19-game winning streak into the championship and earning recognition as one of the premier high school basketball teams in the State of Mississippi; and WHEREAS, the Patriots concluded their remarkable season with a decisive 65-53 victory over Jackson Academy in the Midsouth Association of Independent Schools (MAIS) Overall State Tournament championship game at Mississippi College's A.E. Wood Coliseum in Clinton, Mississippi, before a crowd of thousands of enthusiastic supporters; and *HR43/R2724* H. R.
