A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING AND COMMENDING PAMELA MOODY FOR BEING NAMED THE 2025-2026 OUTSTANDING MUSIC EDUCATOR FOR MISSISSIPPI BY THE NATIONAL FEDERATION OF STATE HIGH SCHOOL ASSOCIATIONS. WHEREAS, Pamela Moody, the Choral Director at Jim Hill High School, has spent more than two decades helping scholars find their voices, and now her work is being recognized on a national stage; and WHEREAS, Mrs. Moody has been named a 2025-2026 Outstanding Music Educator for Section 3 (Mississippi) by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS), and this outstanding honor places her among a select group of performing arts educators nationwide who are recognized for excellence, leadership and lasting impact; and WHEREAS, each year, NFHS honors outstanding educators across music, speech and debate, and theatre, and for the 2025-2026 school year, only eight high school music educators nationwide were selected for section-level recognition, and Mrs. Moody represents Mississippi in Section 3; and *HR26/R2719* H.
