A RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND EXPRESSING GRATITUDE TO DR. LORI HILL MARSHALL, MD, FASA, FOR HER OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS IN THE FIELD OF HEALTHCARE AND TO HER COMMUNITY. WHEREAS, Dr. Lori Hill Marshall, MD, FASA, is an esteemed Mississippi physician who is known throughout the state and beyond for the immeasurable contributions she is making not only as a highly respected anesthesiologist and interventional pain medicine specialist, but as a passionate philanthropist, transformational leader and trailblazing woman committed to making a difference in the lives of others; and WHEREAS, a proud native of the Magnolia State, Dr. Marshall exhibited academic excellence and leadership from an early age, graduating as valedictorian from Madison Central High School, where she was selected for membership in the school's Hall of Fame, before attending the University of Southern Mississippi and being inducted into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi; and WHEREAS, after graduating from USM, Dr. Marshall continued her education at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, *HR43/R2723* H.
