A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE DISTINGUISHED AND MERITORIOUS CAREER OF MADISON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT TED POORE UPON THE SPECIAL OCCASION OF HIS RETIREMENT. WHEREAS, on June 30, 2026, Superintendent Ted Poore is retiring from his position at the helm of administrative leadership for the Madison County School District after dedicating more than 40 years of his illustrious career in education to this great Magnolia State; and WHEREAS, Superintendent Poore is a graduate of Delta State University, where he received his bachelor's and master's degrees, and he diligently continued his educational pursuits at Mississippi College, ultimately earning a degree in educational leadership; and WHEREAS, throughout his 28 years of service to the students, faculty and staff of the Madison County School District, Superintendent Poore has worn many hats, serving as a teacher, coach, counselor and school administrator before taking on the role of superintendent; and *HR43/R2776* H.
