A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING DR. LINDA NIX FOR BEING SELECTED AS "INSTRUCTOR OF THE YEAR" AT THE JACKSON COUNTY CAMPUS OF MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST COMMUNITY COLLEGE. WHEREAS, Dr. Linda Nix, a resident of Vancleave, Mississippi, has been selected as "Instructor of the Year" at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in recognition of her distinguished service to the college; and WHEREAS, the award was established by the Alumni Association of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College to honor instructors, and the recipient of the award is chosen from nominations submitted by students, faculty and administrators on the basis of his or her teaching excellence, college service, community service and professional development; and WHEREAS, Dr. Linda Nix, a Science Instructor, has been employed at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College for the past nine years; and WHEREAS, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences, a Master of Arts in Teaching degree in *SS36/R1584* S. C. R.
