A RESOLUTION MOURNING THE LOSS AND COMMEMORATING THE LIFE, EXTRAORDINARY LEGACY OF PUBLIC SERVICE, AND DISTINGUISHED LEGISLATIVE CAREER OF THE HONORABLE WILLIAM R. "BO" BROWN, AND EXPRESSING DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS UPON HIS PASSING. WHEREAS, it is written in Psalm 73:26, "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever," and as such, the immaculate author and finisher of our souls' destiny summoned the mortal presence of the Honorable William R. "Bo" Brown, beloved husband, father, statesman, educator, community leader and distinguished member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, to eternal rest on June 8, 2026, rendering great sorrow and loss to his family, legislative colleagues, constituents and many friends; and WHEREAS, the City of Jackson, Hinds County and the State of Mississippi lost a revered public servant, respected voice of reason, steadfast advocate and faithful servant-leader with the passing of Representative Brown, and there is now a hush in our hearts as we come together to pay our respects to the memory of *HR26/R3* H.
