Missouri HB1027: Establishes requirements for speed control devices installed for traffic calming purposes

To amend chapter 229, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to speed control devices. Section A. Chapter 229, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 229.035, to read as follows: 229.035. Any speed humps, speed tables, speed cushions, or speed pillows installed to calm traffic on any public roadway after August 28, 2025, shall be fourteen feet in length and three and one-half inches tall, with graded height to be achieved over two feet on either side within the fourteen-foot length. Such speed control devices shall be visibly marked to alert motori.
