FIRST REGULAR SESSION HOUSE BILL NO. 1588 103RD GENERAL ASSEMBLY INTRODUCED BY REPRESENTATIVE DAVIDSON. 3023H.01I JOSEPHENGLER,ChiefClerk To repeal section 33.220, RSMo, and to enact in lieu thereof one new section relating to state financial administration. Section A. Section 33.220, RSMo, is repealed and one new section enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as section 33.220, to read as follows: 33.220. 1. OnorbeforeOctober firstineachyearprecedingtheannualsessionofthe general assembly, each department shall submit to the budget director estimates of its requirements for appropriations for the year commencing on the first day of July next. 2. Such estimates shall be on forms prescribed by the house budget chair and the senate appropriation chair with the advice of the budget director. Such forms shall provide, as nearly as practicable, for a uniform presentation and classification of estimates. Blank copies of forms on which estimates shall be submitted shall be sent by the budget director to each department on or before September first of each such year. 3. Estimates shall be submitted for each subdepartment, division, or bureau of each department down to the smallest organization unit and for the department as a whole. Separate estimates shall be submitted for each fiscal year.
