To amend chapter 210, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to overnight and residential camps, with penalty provisions. Section A. Chapter 210, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 210.1700, to read as follows: 210.1700. 1. This section shall be known and may be cited as "TJ and Heaven's 27 Camp Safety Act". 2. As used in this section, the following terms mean: (1) "Cabin" or "cabins", structures used to provide temporary sleeping quarters for campers; (2) "Camper" or "campers", minors who are attending an overnight camp or residential camp on.

Chapter 210, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 210.1700, to read as follows: 210.1700. 1. This section shall be known and may be cited as "TJ and Heaven's 27 Camp Safety Act". 2. As used in this section, the following terms mean: (1) "Cabin" or "cabins", structures used to provide temporary sleeping quarters for campers; (2) "Camper" or "campers", minors who are attending an overnight camp or residential camp on a day care or boarding basis; (3) "Director", the director of the department of social services; (4) "Department", the department of social services; (5) "Flood plain", any area within a one-hundred-year flood plain, as designated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. "Flood plain" includes any area removed from the one-hundred-year flood plain by a letter of map amendment, a letter of map revision based on fill, or a substantially similar administrative process conducted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency; (6) "Floodway", an area identified on the most recent flood hazard map published by the Federal Emergency Management Agency; (7) "Governmental entity", this state or a state agency or political subdivision of this state; EXPLANATION -- Matter enclosed in bold-faced brackets …
