SECOND REGULAR SESSION HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 3943 103RD GENERAL ASSEMBLY INTRODUCED BY REPRESENTATIVE MANSUR. 6708H.01I JOSEPH ENGLER, Chief Clerk WHEREAS, the Women Legislators of Missouri Caucus sponsors the annual DeVerne Lee Calloway Award, in honor of the first African-American member of the Missouri General Assembly, to recognize outstanding female leaders in Missouri; and WHEREAS, the Women Legislators of Missouri Caucus sponsors the Women Legislators of Missouri Scholarship to recognize exceptional high school seniors on the basis of leadership, academics, and community service; and WHEREAS, the Women Legislators of Missouri DeVerne Lee Calloway Award Ceremony and Scholarship Presentation will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, in the Missouri State Capitol to recognize the recipient of the 2026 DeVerne Lee Calloway Award and to recognize the young women who are recipients of the 2026 Women Legislators of Missouri Scholarship award: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that we, the members of the Missouri House of Representatives, One Hundred Third General Assembly, grant the Women Legislators of Missouri Caucus use of the House Chamber on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to recognize the 2026 DeVerne Lee Calloway Award recipient and the 2026 scholarship recipients.
